Our Thanks To You

Icon By Design hit a major milestone recently: we won the Reed Gift Fairs award for Retailer of the Year in the Small Business category. It’s a huge achievement, and there’s no way we could have done it without our fantastic customers. We’d like to take this opportunity to say thanks to you; our customers, for supporting Icon By Design from the very start.

Since Icon By Design began as an online business, co-founders David Light and his son, Adam, have had a dream: to make Icon By Design a retailer of affordable, timeless, high quality furniture, that’s influenced by the impeccably minimalist Scandinavian design. Since then, thanks to the dedication of our staff and customers, we’ve created a business that reflects those values. We’re able to produce furniture that is sustainably sourced, and rewards both the maker and the consumer, by eliminating the middleman and sourcing our products direct from the craftsman. Our immaculate store in the Supa Centa Moore Park showcases our brand, is transparent in its pricing, and invites you, the customer, to take your time to really understand our approach to furniture, and the furniture itself.

And it’s just the beginning. Icon By Design is still relatively new to the competitive world of furniture and already our online and retail stores are thriving. Our staff are competently managing operations, and have plans in the works to continue progressing.

Reed Gift Fairs, Australia’s premier trading platform for buyers and sellers in the gift and homewares industry, recently named us as the winner of their retailer of the year competition. First and foremost, it should be acknowledged that none of our achievements along the way to winning this award would have been possible without you, our customers. Without you recognising and supporting our vision, Icon By Design would not be where it is today. So to all of our customers, thank you for your ongoing feedback and support. Thanks also to our amazing staff. This award reflects all the hard work and hours you’ve put into helping our customers and maintaining Icon By Designs mission.
